An OPSO (over-pressure shut off) valve is a pressure-sensitive device added to a changeover valve that shuts off the gas supply to ensure that pipework and appliances aren’t affected by dangerously high pressure. Whilst all cylinder installations use a single-stage safety regulator as standard, the addition of the OPSO valve provides an enhanced level of safety.

We believe that an OPSO device is an essential measure that provides our customers with the highest level of protection. Our drivers will only deliver to cylinder installations that have an OPSO device fitted.
