What should I do if my LPG tank is venting gas?

If you suspect your LPG tank is venting gas: 

  1. Stay well away from the tank
  2. Don't use any sources of ignition nearby
  3. Avoid using electrical equipment, including mobile phones close to the tank
  4. If safe to do so, cool the outside of your tank using a hose with a gentle spray from a safe distance
